0.1 The India AI Impact Summit 2026 is being held from 16–20 February 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

0.2 On 17 February 2026, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced addition of 20,000 GPUs, expanding India’s compute capacity beyond the existing 38,000 GPUs.

0.3 The Summit theme is “Sarvajan Hitaya, Sarvajan Sukhaya” (Welfare for All, Happiness of All).

0.4 The initiative is anchored under the ₹10,300+ crore IndiaAI Mission, which provides access to high-end GPUs at ₹65 per hour for startups, researchers, students and public institutions.

0.5 The Summit was inaugurated on 16 February 2026 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

0.6 Participation includes over 20 Heads of State, 60 Ministers, and 500 global AI leaders.

0.7 More than 2.5 lakh students took a pledge for responsible AI innovation; the initiative has been submitted for recognition by Guinness World Records.

0.8 Stanford University has ranked India among the top three AI nations globally.

0.9 The Government of India launched 6 Sectoral AI Impact Casebooks, showcasing 170+ deployed AI innovations across sectors including Health, Energy, Gender Empowerment, Education, Agriculture and Accessibility.
